Southampton Football Club today launched its brand new Under Armour home and away kits for the 2018/19 season.
The eye-catching strips were debuted this afternoon in a special game between two local junior sides – Romsey Town Youth FC and Littleton Juniors FC.
The unsuspecting youngsters were surprised with the new kits after walking into their dressing rooms, which had been given a complete transformation by the club and Under Armour.
On top of that, they also received a shock visit from Saints legends Matt Le Tissier and Franny Benali, who managed the teams for the day.
Both strips once again feature the latest, cutting-edge Under Armour technology, with this year’s stylish home shirt featuring traditional red-and-white stripes, with an all-red back, sleeves and shoulders, as well as black shorts and red-and-black socks.
The away kit takes inspiration from the past, with the club producing a brand new yellow-and-blue strip, reminiscent of what was worn in Saints’ famous 1976 FA Cup victory.
The striking yellow shirt, which is blue across the sleeves and shoulders, is accompanied by blue shorts and blue socks.
The home kit, as well as the club’s new, blue goalkeeper kit, which has also been unveiled, are now available for pre-order, either by clicking here or by calling our mail-order hotline on 0845 688 9433.
The kit will go on sale in our Stadium Store, Westquay Store and online from Friday 29th June, with pre-orders to be sent out with the aim of delivery on that date.
The club’s new line of Under Armour training wear will also be on sale online and in store from the same day.
The home kit will be available in adult, youth and women’s sizes, while there will be mini kits for infants and toddlers. Goalkeeper kits will be available in youth and adult sizes.
Additionally, Saints fans can benefit from a fantastic offer from Virgin Media, who are giving out a free £5 gift card to every supporter who purchases a home or goalkeeper shirt between June 16th and August 10th, to spend in store or online from August 11th until December 24th.
Don’t forget also that Season Ticket holders receive a 10 per cent discount and Official Members get five per cent off, while fans can personalise their shirts with a name, number and Premier League badges for £18. Discounts for 2017/18 Season Ticket holders and Official Members apply until the end of June.
Due to an issue beyond the club’s control, there will be a delay in the away kit being available to purchase. Full pre-order and on-sale details will be announced in due course, with the away kit set to be in stores from late August, although everything is being done to bring this date forward.
Additionally, for the first time since the 2007/08 season, Saints will produce a third kit for the new campaign, details of which will be released later this summer.
