Saints goalkeeper Alex McCarthy has been named in Gareth Southgate’s 28-man England squad for upcoming November internationals against the USA and Croatia.

The Three Lions host the USA on Thursday 15th November in a friendly at Wembley that will also see Wayne Rooney earn his 120th and final cap as well as supporting his foundation.

On the 18th November, Croatia will be the visitors in the final UEFA Nations League group game. The fixture will be the third time the sides have met in recent months, following the FIFA World Cup semi-final and the 0-0 draw in the reverse meeting in Rijeka.
