Club parts company with Mark Hughes
Southampton Football Club today parted company with First Team Manager Mark Hughes.
Hughes’s assistants, Mark Bowen and Eddie Niedzwiecki, have also left the club.
First Team Assistant Coach Kelvin Davis will lead the team in Wednesday’s Premier League visit to Tottenham.

FA Cup third-round draw
Tonight sees Southampton find out their opponents for the third round of the Emirates FA Cup.
The draw takes place on BBC One from 7.30pm, with Saints ball number 36.

Women’s FA Cup run ends
Southampton FC Women were beaten 4-0 away at MK Dons in the second round of the SSE Women’s FA Cup on Sunday, as their 100 per cent record came to an end.
It was always likely to be a tough ask for Marieanne Spacey-Cale’s side at Stadium MK, against a team a number of tiers above them, and so it proved.
Attention now turns back to league action next weekend, as Saints put their 100 per cent record in the competition on the line at home to Woodley United, at AFC Totton’s Testwood Stadium.

Watch the Under-23s tonight
Southampton Under-23s are in Hampshire Senior Cup action tonight – and you can be there to watch.
Saints’ youngsters host Fleet Town at AFC Totton’s Testwood Stadium, with kick-off at 7.45pm, as they bid to advance past the third round.
Entry is £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and free for under-13s.
Support Saints in the FA Youth Cup
Southampton Under-18s begin this season’s FA Youth Cup campaign on Tuesday night, at St Mary’s, as they host Rotherham United’s youngsters.
The third-round game is open to the public, with turnstiles opening at 6pm, ahead of the 7pm kick-off.
Entry is £3 for adults and £2 for Under-18s/Over-65s.
Under-18s enjoy a big win
Saints’ youngsters tuned up for tomorrow’s FA Youth Cup game with a 4-1 home victory over Norwich City in the Under-18 Premier League.
Will Ferry, Enzo Robise, Taymar Fleary and Christian Norton got the goals for Paul Hardyman’s side at Staplewood Campus.
